To breakdown my flag: The background is blue representing the rivers and lakes (Land of 10,000).
The middle object (snowflake like) is a nod to the great star in the capitol rotunda and is made up of: 8 white M’s representing the 8 districts of Minn. and white for the snow.
The green symbolizes the trees, growth and prosperity.
Finally, the middle star is the North Star (8 pts) as we are known as the North Star state.
