Snow-Covered Night Flag

Snow-Covered Night Flag
The Snow-Covered Night Flag by Thomas Atkins of White Bear Lake.

Two snow-covered pine trees stand on a white stripe with a dark blue sky and a four pointed star in the background. The white stripe represents our snowy climate, and the pine trees represent our natural resources. Furthermore, the snow on the pine trees forms an “M” that represents Minnesota in addition to the star in the background, a Minnesota star that has four points. The blue stripe on bottom symbolizes Minnesota’s waters.
